Changes to the booking calendar

Ressu and the new booking calendar have been in use for a while now, and no major problems seem to have appeared. Development continues, however, and the calendar now has a version where all booking-related actions can be handled directly from the calendar. That means booking, moving a booking, changing its duration, option bookings, and cancellations. Ressu controls the events, meaning every action is checked by Ressu and approved if the requested action meets the aircraft-specific limits set in Ressu’s settings.

Naturally you can only change or cancel your own bookings, but if space needs to be made for, say, fire or SAR flights, other people’s bookings must be cancelled from the Ressu side with admin rights.

Previously a booking could not be moved or extended once made, but now that’s possible too, since overlapping bookings for the same aircraft are prevented in the calendar when changes are made. Of course booking management is still possible from the Ressu side as before, and now also moving and extending bookings, as long as other bookings don’t get in the way. JP user profile

It’s worth completing your own user profile and adding at least your phone number, which will then be added automatically to the booking’s extra info alongside your name. This makes booking even easier, since you don’t need to type in standard details every time. Optional (but recommended) extra info goes after your name and phone number.
