Jukolan Pilotit ry has trained private pilots (PPL) since 1980, and throughout its history the club has been one of Finland’s most active training clubs. Training is delivered by the club’s own experienced flight instructors.
Basic training
The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) is completed on the club’s training aircraft following an approved syllabus. Training covers both flight instruction and ground theory, which the club runs at regular intervals as theory courses.
Advanced and additional ratings
After the basic licence, club members can go on to complete, among others:
- Night rating (NF) — the club runs night-flying courses covering both theory and flying.
- Aerobatics training — aerobatics theory courses and flying on the club’s aerobatics-capable aircraft.
- Basic Instrument Rating (BIR).
