Jukolan Pilotit ry is one of Finland’s largest and longest-running general aviation clubs. Activities are centred on Hyvinkää airfield (EFHV), where the club maintains its own clubhouse and hangar.
Shared fleet
The club maintains several training and touring aircraft for shared use by members, booked through the club’s reservation calendar. See the full fleet on the aircraft page.
Talkoot (work parties) and club spirit
The club relies heavily on volunteer work: maintaining the airfield area and clubhouse, servicing aircraft, and running club events are largely done by members. Spring and autumn work parties are an established part of the club calendar.
Seminars and training evenings
The club regularly holds club seminars and theory courses for members — including night-flying training, aerobatics theory, and safety-themed evenings. You’ll find current events in the news section.
Public-benefit flying
Club members also take part in public-benefit flying, such as fire-watch and search flights carried out at the request of the authorities. Read more about this long tradition on the club history page.
The social side
Throughout the year the club also hosts shared events such as the Christmas party and summer gatherings. Follow the club’s Instagram and the news section for what’s coming up.
