About operations at Malmi

A couple of things worth noting about operations at Malmi.

• If AY’s wing weights aren’t on the aircraft, go and get them back. The weights have been in use on at least the neighbouring aircraft. They apparently have the text “Finnairin Lentokerho” on them. Correct me if I’m wrong.
• Another thing. The club’s procedure is as follows. The aircraft’s windscreen and the leading edge of the wings must be washed clean of insect remains immediately after the flight. Doing this stops the remains from baking onto the surfaces, so they can be cleaned off easily. Use clean water and a clean sponge for washing. The windscreen must never be scrubbed. Washing should be done by dabbing with a wet sponge.
• Also remember to leave the aircraft clean for the next pilot!
