Type training
Flying OH-BDA requires a minimum of 100 hours total flight experience plus a type theory course. The required amount of training is determined by an instructor, and type flights may only be given by flight instructors specifically designated by the club for this type.
- Members with over 100 hours total flight time and experience with both constant-speed propellers and retractable gear are recommended a minimum of 2–3 hours of type training.
- Members with over 100 hours total flight time but no experience with constant-speed propellers and retractable gear are recommended a minimum of 3–5 hours of type training.
Type flights include the type theory course plus 3–5 hours of flying.
